![]() With the new feature activation lock for iOS 7 you need their Apple ID to restore the phone which isn't always the easiest to retrieved from a terminated employee. After they returned the phone we would wipe it and set it up as a new phone. We have decided to re-evaluate the process of which we handle company iPhones and setting up Apple ID's.īefore we just let everyone create their own Apple ID and let them use it the entire time they had the phone. I did some further research on the feature that is causing this issue and relayed the information to my company and the possible complications it could cause with employee's being terminated and needing to set up the phone for a new user.
